Sensitive and Endangered Species Surveys, Monitoring, and Banding

 

Surveys and Monitoring - We have  been conducting endangered and sensitive species surveying and monitoring since 1991,  We are permitted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and California Department of Fish and Wildlife to conduct presence/absence surveys and nest monitoring of Least Bell's Vireo, Southwestern Willow Flycatcher, and California Gnatcatcher.  Other presence/absence survey services include:  Arroyo Toad, Southwestern Pond Turtle, Coast Horned Lizard, Coastal Cactus Wren, Burrowing Owl, general wildlife and bird surveys, and raptor surveys 


Banding - We have extensive experience banding juvenile and adult songbirds. Banding projects include numerous Least Bell's Vireo and Southwestern Willow Flycatcher Nest Monitoring Projects within San Diego County, and Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) Programs at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. We hold a permit to band under USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center Bird Banding Laboratory.
